INTRODUCTION

Why are pro vaxxers so absolutely nuts/bonkers? Hate filled? Irrational? Filled with the same zeal that fed the fires of the Inquisition burning millions of “witches” for God all over Europe?
.
Why are vaccines not debated, but diatribed?
.
Let’s be very clear here: vaccines have absolutely no real scientific justification. They do not exist because of the science. They exist IN SPITE of the science which, in condensed form, is contained on the Package Inserts: not tested in pregnant women, massive numbers of disastrous side effects, more unanswered questions than answered ones, toxic ingredients with poor results.

But they serve multiple agendas so the hype has been massive, unrelenting and deafening for decades.
.
Claire Harvey, a poor excuse for a journalist in Australia published a ridiculous article called “Anti-vaxers, you are baby killers…” in the Sunday Telegraph on March 22, 2015.
.
My good friend Adam Crazz, of the Crazz Files Podcast, sent me the link and I responded in depth.

Right into the middle of the predictable feces-storm.
.
The emotions, lack of science, nasty names, irrelevant and illogical personal stories (“my kids had vaccines and the’re fine so you should all get your kids vaccinated to protect my kids” [say WHAT????] are out in full force.
.
I can tell you why from a social, psychological and psychiatric point of view. But it doesn’t matter.
.
I can, and did in my response, cite powerful refutations to their bought-and-paid-for science but it doesn’t matter.
.
They are like the cult members in a cult whose prophet is supposed to live forever but dies. Some few adherents typically drift away but the studies of such cults show that most of them remain, as tightly bound to their illogic as ever: they just make a couple of minor tweaks to their passionately-held beliefs and go on believing even though, in this case, the pertussis vaccine has failed, the measles vaccine has failed, the flu vaccine has failed,, the tetanus vaccine has failed, the rotovirus vaccine has failed, the shingles vaccine has failed, the meningitis vaccine has failed….. It’s OK. Just get a booster or use the new one or even just keep on using the old one.

The great God Vaxus is with us, may His Syringe be ever full, testing our faith by these apparent failures.

There is no speaking truth to these zealots (“I will sacrifice my children on the altar of Vaxus, from whom all Public Health comes! The Faithful will be spared the tribulation of Autism, for they believe!)

Their crony science is corrupt and their brains are addled. So there is only one argument worth making in these public forums: FREEDOM. We own our bodies, you don’t own them. We have the right to self-determination, you cannot take that away from us. How do I know whether these vaccines contain unannounced passengers like SV40, which causes leukemia? Can you force me to risk my life?

How do I know if they contain infertility chemicals? Can you force me to give up my reproductive rights?
.
How do I know that they will not cause me a serious adverse event or terminate my life? Can you force me to accept the risk that you assign me but that I do not accept?
.
Will I allow you to do that? Informed Consent is only meaningful if you can refuse the medical intervention!
.
The science is settled: vaccines are an uninsurable risk because they are so dangerous. The debate is irrational. The ONLY rational aspect of the otherwise hysterical debate is freedom. Mine, yours, your neighbor’s and the guy across the country.
.
Nothing else will work. Nothing else makes sense.
.
And the way to maintain freedom is with massive, and I mean massive, push back. That means that everyone you can reach needs to tell their legislators to back away from mandated vaccines and don’t even think about picking it up again.

Claire, let’s give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that your frothing “outrage” is based swallowing poor science lock, stock and barrel plus a heartfelt concern for the general good and that you are not a shill for the Big Pharma fellows.

Sadly, even if your motivation is pure as the driven snow your outrage is anti-scientific and your blind faith in vaccination’s safety and efficacy is badly misplaced.

I am a physician, a scientist and a strong advocate of both public safety and health freedom. In your mind, they do not go together. Another serious error.

I recently presented a paper to the First All India Congress on Medical Education (Feb 7, 2015, Nitte University, Mangalore, India) in which I looked at the widely available and well-substantiated data that shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that the ONLY thing that has decreased the incidence of infectious disease is a combination of hygiene, clean water, sufficient protein and other nutrition and sanitation.  ALL childhood and other infectious diseases, and their associated morbidity and mortality, Claire, were radically reduced BEFORE the introduction of a single vaccine.

In every case, the slope of the decrease either remained the same or the decrease slowed down when the vaccines were introduced.  In the case of smallpox, when the British government enforced its vaccine mandate, the incidence of death from smallpox increased by nearly 300%.

Here are some cold, hard facts:

1. Dr. Andrew Wakefield did NOT say that MMR vaccine causes autism. He said that 12 autistic children had the same virus that was in the vaccine in their GI tracts, a finding that has been replicated by others.
2. The books have been repeatedly cooked over vaccines and mercury. When the data, the actual science, not the cover up, politicalized make-believe-science is examined, the results are absolutely clear: Yes, vaccines, with or without mercury, cause a host of ills, including autism. Mercury, as a recent highly credible MIT study showed, is not the only heavy metal culprit: aluminum, with which vaccines are adjuvanted, causes serious brain and other organ damage as well.
3. Vials of vaccine that do not contain mercury are washed with Thimerasol, leaving a residue of biological significance. According to the renowned Dr. Paul G. King, PhD, the total amount of mercury received by children who are fully vaccinated today in the US is GREATER THAN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF MERCURY THEY RECEIVED BEFORE THE WILDLY ACCELERATED CURRENT VACCINE SCHEDULE WAS IMPLEMENTED. MUCH GREATER.
4. The Council on Foreign Relations recently released a detailed study on national health status around the world. They showed conclusively that the more vaccinated a nation is, the worse the health of its people in terms of chronic degenerative disease and the higher the infant mortality. Um, that would make vaccination advocates baby killers and terrorists according to your irrational and rabid schema.
5. Under US law, and I would imagine that the same is true in Australia, a vaccine MUST, by statute, be shown to be BOTH safe AND effective before it can be deployed. The number of vaccines which have been shown to be EITHER safe or effective is a shocking zero. That’s right.  Only one placebo controlled, double blind study of vaccines, in this case, the flu vaccine, has EVER been done.  The results?  People who got the vaccine were not protected against the flu and were, in fact, nearly 5 times as likely as non-vaccinated or placebo recipients, to have serious complications, pneumonia, hospitalizations and other major consequences including, rather embarrassingly, death.
6. Vaccinated people infect others. The New York City measles outbreak a couple of years ago was due entirely to vaccinated people shedding viruses and infecting other vaccinated people. In China, where virtually every single member of the society is fully vaccinated, measles outbreaks occur regularly.  In South Korea where pertussis vaccination is a mandated procedure with 97% coverage of the population, pertussis deaths have more than tripled since the achievement of full population coverage and those who contract pertussis are sicker and have more complications than was seen before vaccination was implemented.
7. The lock and key, stimulated antibody response is now known to be very poor, outdated and inaccurate science, which might explain the fact that vaccines actually do not (see my paper for the citations) prevent disease and actually spread it.
8. The notion that vaccines prevent disease outbreaks has no basis in fact. Like the Gardasil/Cervarix nonsense, it was made up out of the whole cloth to sell vaccines, an uninsurably dangerous procedure.
9. Vaccines CAUSE diseases that they are supposed to prevent, they do not prevent or eradicate them. That’s marketing, not science, no matter how widely believed it is.

The CDC’s website says that the cause of polio is polio vaccination.  In India, in the 13 short months before it was declared to be Polio Free by WHO, more than 53,300 cases of the newly “discovered” Non Polio Acute Flaccid Paralysis which only occurs in children who had been vaccinated against polio and whose incidence is in direct, linear proportion to the vaccine coverage.  How do we know it really is polio?  Because the virus found in those kids is the exact same one as they received in the vaccine.  Sort of like the Measles virus in the guts of the kids whom Andy Wakefield studied.

How, then, can we say that polio (or small pox, for that matter) have been eradicated?  Read my paper.  The answers are there and they will shock and dismay you.  Perhaps you will then turn your fury to the deception with which you have been intentionally misled.  That would be a good use of your outrage, in which I would definitely support you!
.
Epidemiologist Professor Maniotis of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine showed in his seminal paper on predicting epidemics and pandemics that the best way to do that is to track where vaccination programs take place.  There’s your next epidemic of that disease.  Sorry to burst your bubble with a syringe needle, Claire, but those are the facts.  And facts do not yield to hysteria whether you like them or not.

By the way, pertussis is easy to treat with Vitamin A supplementation.  Vitamin C helps the kids out, too.  The pediatrician who allowed the baby to die left that out of the regimen, did s/he?  Not surprised, since there has been a war against natural options in Australia for some years now and most physicians are afraid to use nutrients, I understand, since they can be deregistered if they do.  Now that is second hand knowledge, Claire, so if it is wrong, please correct me.

10. The vaccine schedule is nothing but marketing. Take boosters, for example. Or rather, don’t take them.  There is absolutely no science backing up the idea that if you give another shot of a vaccine that your response to is poor, it will increase your response.

People who receive boosters are back to the same antibody levels as before the booster within a year or less. Much less usually.  Why give boosters, then?  Simple.  Anytime a vaccine has been shown, like the measles vaccine (Mayo Clinic Journal) or the Pertussis Vaccine (numerous professional journal articles) the every-compliant conflict of interest ridden Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices of the US CDC, a leader in marketing useless and deadly vaccines, adds a “booster” shot to the schedule.  And it does boost.  Profits.

11. The downstream harm of vaccines is enormous. The reporting system is weak and voluntary in the US and is generally acknowledged to capture between 1-10% of all adverse events, but if you give even that weak reporting data set a cursory glance you will see clearly that vaccines cause enormous harm to large numbers of people. Oh, yes, the US government has paid out nearly $3 Billion US to families of vaccine injured or killed people. And most people never even make it to the vaccine court because of the high barriers set for entry and success in the system, which is, by the way, a US national scandal.  Vaccine makers in the US are virtually totally free of any liability and are free to profit with whatever unclean and unsafe products they choose to.  And they are free to profit from the downstream gain as well.

Like, for example, childhood leukemia.

CDC has publicly admitted that it knew that the polio vaccines (safe?  effective? ) that 98 million Americans received were contaminated with the CV40 virus which causes leukemia.  But in order not to increase the financial burden of manufacturers, they chose not to require the simple one pass filtration process that would have eliminated the virus. Baby killers?  Terrorists?  Looks like it to me, Claire.  How about to you?

I think that makes the point.
.
There are baby killers among us.  They are on the payroll of Big Pharma and various governments as regulators.  Then they leave those jobs and go back to their large salary Big Pharma jobs, by the way.  And we, you and I and the babies, pay the heavy personal, social and financial price.
.
Oh, yes, one more thing, Claire: infertility.  The UN commissioned WHO in 1974 to find ways to render the undesirable population infertile through vaccines.  They were successful and their witches’ brew has shown up in the Philippines, for example, where the High Court found WHO guilty of genocide because of the involuntary sterilization of more than 3 million women there. How many more?  Only WHO and the US government knows.  And Kenya. And India.
.
How about Australia?  Really, when you think about it, the only thing you know about what’s in a vaccine is what you read on the label.  Is that good enough for you to trust your health and your child’s health to,  knowing that stealth viruses, toxic heavy metals, infertility agents and other poisons are intentionally added to vaccines which, as it turns out, don’t work?

If so, you are a very trusting soul.

I was in Trenton this morning (16 March 2015) to make a statement before the NJ Assembly Health Committee.
A-1931 would compel religious expression in order to “qualify” for a religious exemption to vaccination. Current law simply relies on the parent’s written assertion that the parent has a religious objection. The new law would burden religious expression by compelling speech. Under the Constitution there can be no religious test, no govt forbidding of any religious speech — and certainly no govt compelling of religious expression. If parents can be compelled to explain their religious beliefs, some bureaucrat would be empowered to deny them the free exercise of their religious beliefs. With only one committee member voting to uphold religious liberty, after “listening” to several hundred people speaking against the bill, and three for it (Paid lobbyists? One of whom was photographed sleeping in the committee room) the Committee reported the bill to the whole Assembly for consideration. The battle moves there. RF

I am a life-long New Jersey resident. I graduated from Rutgers College and Rutgers Law School and practiced law in New Jersey from 1971 until my retirement in 2006. I have been an ordained minister since 1974 and I am both the President of the Institute for Health Research and a trustee of the Natural Solutions Foundation, an international NGO focused on health and health freedom. I come before you as a private person. I oppose A-1931.

Assembly Health Committee Hearing

In recent weeks many concerned communicants are coming to me to talk about vaccination of themselves and their children. They are deeply conflicted, fearing for their children and wanting to do the right thing. Many of them have serious moral and philosophical scruples which lead them to religious conscientious objection to vaccination. In providing ministerial counseling to these people I often discuss the obligations of a parent to their child and the ethics of taking risks with the child. Some parents feel they have a religious, moral obligation to protect their child from known risks. They believe they cannot challenge what they see as the child’s God-given immune system without doubting their faith and denying their belief in a beneficent God.

I assert the Right of Informed Consent, enshrined in the First Amendment, the Helsinki Declaration and the AMA Code of Ethics, which, by definition, necessarily includes the Right to refuse any treatment. Without that right to refuse any treatment, Informed Consent is meaningless, a mere mockery.

I personally stand with moral exemplar Mahatma Gandhi who famously wrote “Conscientious objectors to vaccination should stand alone, if need be, against the whole world, in defense of their conviction.”  And that is the intensity of religious belief that motivates the admittedly small percentage of New Jersey families as well as non-parents who choose not to vaccinate for religious reasons. I come here today to ask you to resist further burdening the religious expressive association rights of these families and of those who see these rights for themselves.

What you are being told by the high-powered, CDC (tax payer) funded vaccine mandate supporters is simply disinformation. The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) speaks for bureaucracy, not for free health choice. [1]

Last year a New Jersey administrative court judge awarded a nurse compensation after being fired when she refused vaccination on philosophical grounds, ruling that the religious exemption should be understood to reach all such personal beliefs that are as important to the person as deeply held religious beliefs are to the believers. To do otherwise would be to put the First Amendment into jeopardy. [2]

This is the correct view of the law of vaccine conscientious objection, and any attempt by the legislature to burden the free exercise of religion will be reversed by the Courts, as violations of expressive association rights.

Instead of restricting religious liberty, if you believe you must pass a law, I urge the legislature to adopt extensions of the exemption law, to codify the case law that protects philosophical and religious conscientious objection to vaccination and any mandated medical treatment.

In 1903 the North Carolina Supreme Court wisely observed, in State v Biggs, (46 SE Reporter 401): “Medicine is an experimental, not an exact science. All the law can do is to regulate and safeguard the use of powerful and dangerous remedies, like the knife and drugs, but it cannot forbid dispensing with them. When the Master, who was himself called the Good Physician, was told that other than his followers were casting out devils and curing diseases, he said, ‘Forbid them not.'” (p.405)

The Constitutional restrictions on governmental interference with religious liberty and expressive association are strong.

The religious beliefs of each person must be respected: “…neither this court nor any branch of this government will consider the merits or fallacies of a religion. Nor will the court compare the beliefs, dogmas, and practices of a newly organized religion with those of an older, more established religion.” Universal Life Church, Inc. vs. United States, 372 F. Supp. 770, 776 (E.D. Cal 1974)

I sincerely admonish the Assembly of New Jersey to respect the religious scruples of the non-vaccinating members of society. A-1931 seriously burdens religion by compelling state-approved expression, by requiring more than a simple assertion of Right permitted by the current law.

Thank you for acting in our best interests and preserving our God-given and Constitution-guaranteed First Amendment Freedom. The integrity and privacy of the family and each individual in New Jersey requires no less.

UPDATE: Louise Kuo Habakus

I am just back from Trenton. Over 400 NJ parents and professionals gathered at our state capital today to oppose a new Assembly bill that proposes to gut the religious exemption and effectively mandate vaccination for virtually all children.

No matter. 300 people were enough in Oregon but not NJ.

Despite the impassioned, compelling, and articulate testimony of over 100 who took the microphone to voice strong opposition, plus the hundreds who oppose the bill but declined to testify in the interest of time, the Health Committee voted to move the bill to the full Assembly.

Dear Doctor,
.
You and I share a sacred, professional responsibility to our patients and, in order to fulfill that responsibility, to the truth. We have no responsibility to the economic well-being of any system, company or industry and confusing the two can harm, maim or even kill.
.
I am writing to you today to ask you to think with me about vaccine exemptions. You and I may believe different things about vaccine safety, efficacy and necessity but it is my hope that we believe the same thing about human rights, informed consent and the fallibility of today’s scientific dogma which is ALWAYS replaced by new dogma when science is functioning as it should. In fact the half life of medical truth is about 20 years: in that time, 50% of what we believed has been shown to be irrefutably false.

That is why the traditional first rule of humane medicine has always been “Do no harm.”
.
Human rights (and parental rights) and informed consent are the medical cornerstones of a sane society based resolutely in the rule of law. Without them, there is no rule of law, there is only the oppression of the powerless by the empowered.
.
Neither you nor I went to Medical School to oppress the weak, Doctor, nor to serve corporate or tyrannical forces.
.
When people come to you asking for your help in securing their parental or personal rights against compulsory vaccination you can serve their rights or you can serve the industry that wants to take their rights away. The choice is yours. The consequences may be brutally damaging and the responsibility is yours for that damage, even if the government has exempted you from legal responsibility.
.
You have the professional competence, and First Amendment Right, to issue informed professional opinions, including medical excuse letters.*
.
Looking at the CDC’s own words, we see that a wide array of negative consequences can follow vaccination. Package inserts tell us this very clearly. We see that encephalopathy, Guillain-Barré syndrome, anaphylactic reactions, seizures, allergic reaction, asthma, diabetes, lung diseases, heart diseases, kidney diseases, metabolic diseases such as diabetes or blood disorders, continuous crying for 3 hours within 48 hours after a vaccine dose, having a first degree relative who is immunocompromised or being immunocompromised are among the many contraindications to live attenuated virus vaccines, to DPT, Tdap, influenza vaccines and to other vaccines as well.

You and I both know that although the empty assertion is made that “the science is conclusive” showing that vaccines are safe, that is simply public puffery, given that all vaccines are classed by the Courts as an uninsurable risk like nuclear power so that a special Court has been created to compensate a tiny number of people who, like unfortunate Hannah Polling, had their lives destroyed by vaccines.

If the science were settled, there would be no Hannah Polling**.
.
The science is not settled on vaccine protection. There are people who are not protected by vaccines and who develop diseases induced by vaccines like the more than 53,300 Indian children who developed the mis-named Non Polio Acute Flaccid Paralysis (NPAFP) syndrome following the Pentavalent polio vaccine in the 13 months before India was declared a Polio Free country in March 2014. Since the same virus found in the vaccine was found in the NPAFP victims, who were twice as likely to die as children contracting community infections of polio, and the incidence rose from 2/100,000 unvaccinated children to 34/100,000 vaccinated children in direct linear relationship to the number of children vaccinated we can say with certainty that the science is settled: polio vaccines cause polio. The CDC noted that some years ago on their polio vaccine website when they listed the principle cause of polio as polio vaccination.
.
The science is settled, too, that the vaccinated can shed viruses whether or not they develop the disease against which they were vaccinated. Those shed viruses can infect the immunocompromised, the unvaccinated, the otherwise vulnerable. Once again, CDC has noted that in its pronouncements that people recently vaccinated with measles for flu vaccines should avoid the unvaccinated and immunocompromised.
.
Of course, walking down the street, the unvaccinated and immunocompromised tend to pass by without their bright yellow armbands so they run considerable risk from the recently vaccinated.
.
The science is settled, too, on the fact that heavy metals are toxic, that herd immunity is, at best a theory and that measles outbreaks like the recent one in California and the ongoing ones in China, occur in the fully vaccinated (virtually 100% in China). Pertussis outbreaks have increased by several hundred percent since mandatory vaccination (97+%) was instituted in South Korea and deaths have skyrocketed from Pertussis, easily controlled in the unvaccinated by administration of modest amounts of totally non-toxic Vitamin A.
.
Chicken pox vaccination has been associated with a $1Billion + bill in shingles in the elderly who come into contact with vaccinated children ($700 Million per year in the US) and in children ($300 Million per year). This is associated with vaccination for a self-limiting and easily controlled disease which is little consequence in normal children.
.
But assume for a moment the science were settled for every vaccine and they had been tested and found to be, as required under US law, both safe and effective. We know that this is a false assumption because the number of vaccines tested and found to be either safe or effective in the US is the same: zero.
.
One placebo controlled study of the efficacy of a vaccine has been carried out, and only one.
.
It found that influenza vaccine was associated with a nearly 5 fold increase in serious health conditions including pneumonia and asthma, requiring hospitalization and leading, in some cases, to adverse events including death.
.
All the “science” the CDC relies upon are studies funded by the very companies that are seeking lucrative drug approvals. Assume, however, for the sake of argument, although not for the sake of science, that it were true and vaccines were both safe and effective.
.
Would the fact that a safe and effective strategy for disease control existed abrogate the basic right to informed consent of both parents and adult patients? How could it if the sina qua none of informed consent is the right to refuse because of fear, knowledge, religion, philosophy, epidemiology, dyspepsia, paranoia, voices from aliens or guidance from the Archangel Michael.

The reason is irrelevant. If informed consent means anything at all, it means the requirement to be informed and the absolute right to refuse treatment.

You and I are obligated under the prevailing Code of Ethics, to honor and protect, support and enable informed consent. Here is what the American Medical Association’s code says on the subject: Opinion 8.08 – Informed Consent:

The patient’s right of self-decision can be effectively exercised only if the patient possesses enough information to enable an informed choice. The patient should make his or her own determination about treatment. The physician’s obligation is to present the medical facts accurately to the patient or to the individual responsible for the patient’s care and to make recommendations for management in accordance with good medical practice. The physician has an ethical obligation to help the patient make choices from among the therapeutic alternatives consistent with good medical practice. Informed consent is a basic policy in both ethics and law that physicians must honor, unless the patient is unconscious or otherwise incapable of consenting and harm from failure to treat is imminent. In special circumstances, it may be appropriate to postpone disclosure of information, (see Opinion E-8.122, “Withholding Information from Patients”). Physicians should sensitively and respectfully disclose all relevant medical information to patients.”

You see the choices of the patient about the care they want for themselves or for their children is unrelated to your personal belief system, what you would do for yourself or your family or any personal benefit you might receive (like profit on an administered vaccine) and depends fully and totally on the wishes of the patient or parent.

The science is not settled, but the fundamental principle of human rights most definitely is. The legal standard is that a Medical Exemption should be granted if there is “reasonable certainty that he is not at the time a fit subject of vaccination…“***

There’s another issue that you may not have considered here, Doctor. Your personal freedom in a freedom-revoking State which your adherence to a corporate model of health care control may be directly enabling.

Looking outside of clinical issues for a moment, we see a pattern in the current push for total vaccine control: you and I both know that every modern tyranny, without exception, has come to total an terrifying power with the complicity and cooperation of the medical component of the society it wished to dominate.

Doing things to people’s bodies who do not wish those things done is an act of tyranny however much you believe in those things. They could be sterilization, inserting a nano chip, chemotherapy or vaccination. They could be the murder of defective German children long before Hitler came to power when, under Kaiser Wilhelm, the birth records of every German child was examined by the Children’s Killing Commission in Munich and doctors volunteered to run special wards where defective children were starved and experimented upon “for the greater good”.

Next, of course, came the even better-enshrined killing and slave labor camps, all of which relied, as did Soviet State Psychiatry, on the acquiescence of health care personnel to experiment on, control and benefit from, their atrocious inhuman behavior.

Dare we, as health-keepers, tyrannize anyone “for the greater good“? I think not. I think so with such fervor, in fact, that I offer you and everyone else in any aspect of the health professions the opportunity to pledge not to acquiesce to the requests of any emerging control system to use their healing arts and position to do harm to anyone against their will. HEALTH KEEPERS OATH

Take it and share it with your fellow health keepers, spreading the awareness that we are the keepers of a sacred trust which is far greater than the convenient pleasure of those who would be first our patients’ masters and then ours. The sorry histories of Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union teach us that tyranny needs the cooperation of health care givers to do its evil work.

It is your job, my dear colleague, to protect the body of your patients and to protect the body politic which allows you to protect them and allows them to protect themselves. That cannot be accomplished unless you will offer the patients you see who wish to have your support in their vaccine choices the support they need to make THEIR choices, not yours.

There are legitimate reasons for every single vaccine conscientious objector to have a formal medical exemption if they wish one. For example, the injection of aluminum (present in all vaccines) will damage every human into whom it is injected, whether subclinically or clinically apparent.
.
Every person’s immune system will be changed forever by the introduction of even one dose of vaccine and the immune system must be protected since without it, we are prone to a vast array of diseases and disorders.

Write the letter for exemption and stand with rights, not repression of rights, Doctor. The CDC lists the contraindications, in summary, here: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/recs/vac-admin/contraindications-vacc.htm and in more detail here: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/pinkbook/genrec.html. However, these government recommendations cannot substitute for your clinical judgment that there is “reasonable certainty that he is not at the time a fit subject of vaccination…”

There are currently about 200 new vaccines in the pipeline. Are you so sure that children can withstand that many MORE vaccines? Is there any science behind combining so many vaccines over any particular period of time? If we do not make it possible for patients and parents to exercise informed consent now, there will be no way to do so when we are facing not dozens but hundreds of vaccines.

In closing, Doctor, I want to ask you to imagine with me for a moment that at some time in the future what you believe to be true about vaccines is demonstrated not to be true and what the people seeking exemptions for themselves and their families believes, that they are unsafe and unnecessary, turns out to be true. But imagine at that time in the hypothetical future that your right to say no to vaccines which you now know or suspect to be unsafe has been cancelled by the same forces that are now telling people that vaccines are good and useful and should be sought out vigorously by everyone but you KNOW that you do not want that vaccine in your body or your loved ones’.

Will it be fine with you that you have no choice, that there are no exemptions any more and that the collateral damage is just something the injured person and its friends and families just has to deal with? For the “greater good.”

Probably not.
.
So every time you write an exemption letter for someone else, Doctor, you are actually investing in your own future freedom.

It’s a bit like casting your freedom bread upon the waters.
