The Whole World at Risk from Many Fukushimas

Ambassador Murata, the Conscience of Fukushima, responded to the latest in a series of threats to the remaining, heavily damaged buildings at the Fukishima nuclear facility, by reminding us that there are many potential Fukushima’s throughout the world.

During the past several months there have been continuing threats that could “bring down the house” – collapsing further the radioactive assembly rod staging pools (which are several stories above ground, filed with radioactive fuel rods, and leaking) and thereby further threatening the Northern Hemisphere with ever more lethal levels of radioactivity.

Within the past year or so, we have reported several strong earthquakes (with the most recent at a 6.8 on the measurement scale), two typhoons and one mysterious fire [http://tinyurl.com/FukushimaFire].

Thank you for sending me important information.

Urgently needed is an international system to cope with severe nuclear
accidents that cannot be brought under control by a single state,as has been
shown by FUKUSHIMA.
.
What if another should happen, in Europe, East Asia,  Middle East or South America ?

.
Governments can put off till tomorrow what should be done today.
.
It will be too late tomorrow.
.
Any government needs to be obliged by a new system to make maximum efforts that include international collaboration to cope with the severe nuclear accidents.

I have already made this plea to some top leaders of the world.
