“Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009” a Threat to Food AND Freedom!
Congress is set to deliver a huge blow to local food production and safety by giving Big Agra interests exactly what they want: the industrialization of all food production in the US — forcing family farms, natural, successful home gardeners and other local food sources to meet Agra-Biz industrial standards or go out of business. H.R. 2749 — the (sic) “Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009” has been “fast tracked” and is heading to a vote this week under a Suspension of Rules that will allow no amendments and a total of 40 minutes debate. The latest report we’ve had indicates the bill was removed from the voting agenda today: rumors suggest that continued strong public opposition may force the bill back to committee for further amendment.
The Natural Solutions Foundation, www.HealthFreedomUSA.org, concerned by Codex Alimentarius’ US-led industrialization and global degradation of the food supply, noted with alarm the introduction of bills to do the same thing here in the US. While the public was distracted by the economic collapse and the non-lethal Swine Flu “Pandemic Emergency” and the threat of mandatory vaccination with the weaponized Swine Flu vaccine, Congress was planning its own surprise: the forced-industrialization-of-farming bills, such as HR 875 & 759, were replaced by a new “fast-tracked” (sic) “Food Safety” bill – HR 2749 – that threatens food, health and freedom. Since it gives the FDA power to declare marshal law in the face of food contamination in the US, it is, in reality, a “martial law food control bill” — see: http://farmwars.info/?p=1145
Small farms, organic production, biodynamic operations and home farmers who share their food will be required to comply with standards which they cannot afford, like seed sorting plants running to more than a million dollars for each species of seed when no threat has ever been posed by simple hand sorting devices. All food preparation and storage facilities, including home kitchens, could be entered without a warrant for inspection of records – which no home keeps. Ultimately, the only acceptable food would be prepared, industrialized and industry-controlled food. Codex standards and guidelines would govern all agricultural production, driving non-chemical operations out of business.
Today, recognizing the importance of push back and citizen involvement in the legislative process, Rep. Ron Paul, responding to the 600,000+ emails supporters of health freedom have sent to Congress demanding protection for organic farming and food freedom, urged, through his Legislative Aide, that the Natural Solutions Foundation “Keep it up!”

For example, we’ve been urging Congress to defeat all fake “Food Safety” bills since they do not address the major health and environmental threats posed by huge factory farms and feed lots which threaten local production. When the Foundation created our an Action Item more than a half a million emails told federal legislators to protect family farms and ranches, organic, natural and home food production, food co-ops, community gardens, etc.

And, apparently, they heard at least part of the message. Those who support HR 2749 are touting the (slight) “farmer protection” added to the bill to initially get it out of committee:
“Are Small Farms Protected?
“The legislation is doing a bunch of things for food safety, most notably giving the FDA mandatory recall authority. This has been a major sticking point for previous iterations of this legislation in the House, because House reps more than senators represent small fiefdoms inside large rural states. These districts wide recalls will disproportionately harm smaller businesses and processors versus their larger partners. In a sense, FDA recalls and fees would represent a regressive tax.
“This is an extremely valid concern given the FDA’s proclivity for influence from industry. However, this bill was able to climb out of committee in the House because it properly addressed small growers and farmers markets. Specifically, Section 107 of the bill which stipulates ‘Traceability Requirements’ on most farms makes an exemption for farmer’s markets (more or less):
‘(4) EXEMPTIONS-
‘(A) DIRECT SALES BY FARMS- Food is exempt from the requirements of this subsection if such food is-
‘(i) produced on a farm; and
‘(ii) sold by the owner, operator, or agent in charge of such farm directly to a consumer or restaurant.
“Traceability is a huge issue and this bill seeks to establish a new electronic system for tracking that will be vetted over the course of a couple years. The exemption for small farmers is good but poorly defined. We hope this vague language about exemptions gets tightened up as the bill moves forward. It would be a pity to see this single exemption allow major agribusiness farmers off the hook.”

This weak provision is not the protection we want for local food production.
But it is a start. We are concerned that the word “farm” could be construed too narrowly. What about religious communities, nonprofits, co-ops, community and family gardens that produce surpluses… Real protection is needed for local, natural production.
This is not a bill that we expect conscientious congresspeople to support, and we certainly don’t support what has been called a “martial law food control bill.”

Trillions for Tribute, But Not One Cent for Defense
The US declared, when faced with the demands of the Barbary Pirates who controlled the shipping routes of the Mediterranean around North Africa, Representative Robert Goodloe Harper, declared “Millions for defense, but not one cent for tribute.” The concept is deeply enshrined in the consciousness of the US and is the meaning of the reference “To the shores of Tripoli” in the Marine’s Hymn, learned by every child in America.
Like so much else in the US, for example, the protections and provisions of the US Constitution, that deep understanding has been violated by the grim and terrible grasp of the Pharma Pirates on our lives. We do, in fact, pay trillions of dollars, and billions of person years of suffering and death, as tribute to the pirates who control our national and personal decisions with lies and more lies – Big Pharma. When the people of America learn to “Say No to Drugs”, we will have moved a long way toward freeing ourselves from the tribute and tyranny of the Phama Pirates.Pandemic Flu is thought to kill people because the immune system recognizes that it has encountered a pathogen (disease – causing agent, in this case a virus) and sends out signaling molecules called cytokines, (Greek cyto-, cell; and -kinos, movement). They can be proteins, peptides, or glycoproteins. Once those signals are received, the immune system springs into action and mounts a defense. In the case of the weaponized pandemic viruses, the defense can be so strong that it literally overwhelms the person who has been infected and causes death because the immune system itself has overwhelmed the lungs, leading to so much inflammation that they cannot carry out their essential function of exchanging gases.
Cytokine Storms and the Pharma Pirates
Cytokines are powerful signaling molecules which cells sends out in order to get a response. The word itself comes from the Greek for cell (cyto) and movement (kinos).
Pandemic, bioengineered virus are believe to kill by evoking a massive cytokine response, called a “cytokine storm” which is so powerful that the immune system itself overwhelms the lung capacity of the infected person and the number of immune cells, along with the massive inflammation (which is an immune technique to isolate an infective agent) fills up the lungs so they cannot carry out their job of exchanging gases and the patient dies.
But like any storm, it will abate and normal conditions can prevail again. If the cytokine storm provoked as an initial response to the virus can be managed for approximately 3 days, the body’s immune response is normalized, becomes more efficient, and it then kills out the virus in the ordinary way that it usually does. The result is called “surviving the pandemic flu”. H1N1 appears to be pretty poor at evoking a lethal cytokine storm.
I would call it another in the growing list of failed pandemics: SARS, Avian Flu, Swine Flu….
The WHO and CDC, however, have assured us that we can expect a lethal global pandemic from this same virus in the fall of 2009, just exactly, we are told, when the vaccine “against” this newly lethal killer virus is ready. We are astonished and awed by the ability of these organizations to predict the future and prepare for it so profitably. The billions spent on the absurd Avian Flu (H5N1) vaccines and the useless failed Rumsfeld antiviral, Tamiflu, of course, are now simply black lines on the spreadsheets of Big Pharma, another example of the monumental depravity of that industry and its governmental (and intergovernmental) servants, including the Oval Office.
In the document called “Concept of Operations of the UN In a Global Influenza Pandemic”, the final footnote (p.10) reads:
The procedures contained in this CONOPS framework will need to be tested at global, regional and country level to ensure their utility and allow for revisions where necessary. Several UN country teams have already conducted simulations to test coordination structures and other procedures outlines in their pandemic plans. Further simulation exercises at regional and global level are needed to test coordination structures and operating procedures. Such large scale simulations will require the commitment of different UN entities. It is anticipated that this CONOPS will continue to be tested through simulation exercises at global, regional and country levels during 2009. [Emphasis added – REL]

That looks very much to me like the reason that the failed pandemic of 2009 is being pursued as if it were a threat to anyone. Right now it is a real threat, but it is a threat to our liberty, our nations, our freedoms. Later this fall, if the plans hold, it would appear that the bad boy version will be ready and released – probably through the vaccines which we will be expected to line up for willingly. Remember, if you do not line up for them willingly, you will be subject to the federal powers which our spineless Congress has authorized and to the same powers of the States under their Emergency Medical Powers Acts. Those powers define you as a felon if you refuse vaccination once a Pandemic has been declared at the State level and a health hazard at the federal level. Once so identified, you are subject to immediate long-term incarceration and quarantine. At the state level, as a felon, you could be sent to prison. At the federal level you could be held indefinitely at one of the many FEMA camps which have been established all over the US (and Canada?).
So the storm is political, global and physical, all at once.
Before I discuss how to safely quell a cytokine storm, let me ask you a question or two:
Did you vote for the dissolution of your country in this last election?
Are you eager to have the UN run a global government?
Do you think that the UN would ever hand back control to the nation states after the pandemic is over, if it ever IS over?
Do you agree with the globalist position that the solution to global warming and overpopulation is population culling so that 80-90% of the world’s population no longer exists? If so, are you willing to step up and volunteer yourself and your family for the culling?

Quelling the Storm
So how do you control a cytokine storm without subjecting yourself to even more dangerous drugs? Simple. There are many well known natural means of doing so.
First and foremost is Vitamin C. Good ole’, familiar Vitamin C. When your body needs vitamin C, which we have somehow misplaced the gene which allows us to make during the course of our development, it tolerates more. So you need to give it more. How much more? Well, as much as you can cram in during a cytokine storm (and in the face of a full blown infection with a pandemic, bioengineered virus) – I prefer intravenous delivery systems so that up to 300 G per day can be delivered for 3 days. Since part of the impact of these viruses seems to be a cataclysmic depletion of the body’s Vitamin C stores, this is very important.
By the way, when I first published this information, I was roundly castigated by a variety of people who should have known better. Shortly thereafter, they began publishing this information as if it were their own. Ah, well! The real point is to get it out there where it can help people, but an accurate attribution would be nice!
If IV administration is not possible (and it would not be available for most people), then ingesting LARGE amounts of oral Vitamin C would be the way to go. The body will tell you when it has had enough Vitamin C: bowel tolerance is the signal that its needs have been met. That means diarrhea or softening of stools. However, the novel H1N1 virus produces diarrhea as a part of its infection process so I would say ignore that sign and just put lots and lots of Vitamin C into the patient. There is no known level of toxicity for Vitamin C and it is a powerful immune support – which is why Big Pharma, through Codex, would love to restrict it to the point that there is no useful dose available.
Should you stock pile Vitamin C? I believe you should. Should you use Vitamin C from GMO sources? Of course not. That means that it must be organic. You can visit www.Organics4U.org to find organic Vitamin C sources. Non GMO sourcing is a vitally important consideration, by the way.
Next, Nano silver. As you know, Nano silver is different from colloidal or other silver types. Because of its very small size, it cannot be retained in the body so the mythical dangers of turning blue are even less significant than they are with other types of silver (to the whole notion of argyria, my response is “Fiddle Faddle! It is literally a myth and not a real concern.”)

You know the old adage, “Give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach him to farm, feed him for life.” Change the word “Fish” to “Farm” and you’ve got a way to solve the hunger problem not only in the US, but in the entire industrialized world. Intensive urban agriculture is that powerful And, in addition to providing food, indoors or out, in-ground or in containers, for people, thus ending food shortages on a family-by-family basis, reclaiming the production of food, again on a family-by-family basis, this simple strategy can end, yes, END, the high calorie under nutrition that is killing us.
You will recall that both the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization, in their Joint WHO/FAO Expert Consultation on Diet, Nutrition and the Prevention of Chronic Diseases (2002 : Geneva, Switzerland) noted that the chronic, non communicable, PREVENTABLE [emphasis added – Dr. Rima] diseases of under nutrition are –

You will also recall that these are the principle killers in the developed nations and, as the developing world moves toward consuming the Standard American Diet, or “SAD”, these PREVENTABLE killers are making their inroads in their lives (and deaths), too.
You will surely recall as well that these PREVENTABLE diseases are also the principle money makers for the pharmaceutical industry, which is behind Codex Alimentarius (the World Food Code), which corrupts and weaponizes food on a world-wide basis to make as many of us as sick as possible for as long as possible with diseases which could have been prevented – and can be cured – by nutrition.
So when a suggestion arose to feed the hungry in the US by recycling food to give to them, that suggestion, while kindly in its intent, literally appalled me. Why not, I thought, teach the hungry to use tiny pieces of land, or easily available containers, to feed themselves, helping our efforts to reclaim the production of food world-wide, and eliminating the high calorie under nutrition that is killing so many of us to the misery of ourselves and our communities and the profit of the illness mongering so-called “health care industry”?
I hope that you will take this idea seriously, apply it to yourselves and teach your neighbors.
Step 1: look around your garden (if you have a year-long growing season where you live) or your home if you do not, and find a place to plant a garden in your yard, your closet (with grow lights), a corner of your apartment, your balcony or wherever.
Step 2: Start thinking about the veggies you would like to eat. Start making a list of them now so you will be ready to plant when the time comes (shortly).
Step 3. Enlist your kids, if you have them. If you home school, make this a project. If you do not home school, make it a project, anyway. It is vitally important now, and will be much more important in the near future, for everyone to know these techniques, and kids naturally take great pleasure in making things grow.

Step 5. Talk to your friends, church groups, neighbors, relatives, anyone you know who eats. It is especially important to alert anyone you know who has children so that they can start growing healthy, unadulterated food for them to protect their immune systems and assist their bodies – and brains – to grow to their maximum health and functional potential. Healthy food, as we all know, does all of that and more. But the food that we eat, especially if it is prepared food, meets few (or none) of those characteristics since it is grown in demineralized soil, laden with dangerous chemicals and irradiated, to say nothing of the fact that some 90%+ of our prepared food contains GMO ingredients. Why are we so sick, so young and so long? Because of our food supply.
These Intensive Urban Gardens cost virtually nothing, require little labor and will feed you and your family abundantly, at least as far as vegetable crops go. This will help us all reclaim the production of food while protecting our health.
Oh, yes, there is one more advantage: President Obama and his First Lady, Michelle Obama, have begun planting an organic vegetable garden on the White House lawn. This, at least for this one time, is immensely important to us. Even while the Congress is preparing to pass HR 875 (HR 759) and S 425, disastrous legislation which will plunder the ability of small farmers to stay in the game, leaving ALL food production to the industrialized food chain forces, including GMO and nutrient poor, chemical rich, irradiated food producers, the thrust for clean food production through organic small gardens has been put into our hands by this disingenuous move on the part of the public face of control, the While House.

Codex Alimentarius, the UN’s “Food Code” sets standards and guidelines for everything that goes into the mouths of the world’s population (voluntary as the Codex texts are, they are backed up the by WTO unless a country follows several very specific procedure which our Foundation has determined exist and has promulgated to these countries through our work at Codex meetings in in their home countries).
Tragically, these standards and guidelines are set at the request and wishes of the US Government, the “Big Dog” at Codex. Armed with the wishes of the multinational corporations, the US makes sure, through its might and economic weight, that Codex is run for the benefit if the “Bigs”, Big Pharma, Big Agribiz, Big Chema, Big Biotechna and Big Medical.
In fact, the US comes to the Codex meetings around the world with representatives of these industries on its delegation, unlike virtually any other country in the world.
So the quality of food is rapidly being degraded world wide.
Nowhere is this more true than in the US where the nutritive value of food is decreasing with the intensification of industrial food production (indeed, even Avian Flu outbreaks have been laid squarely at industrial food production of poultry AND VACCINATION WITH AVIAN VACCINES WHICH PRECIPITATE THE DISEASE IN VACCINATED BIRDS).
At the same time, Codex permits contamination of food through unlimited irradiation, permitted dangerous chemicals at high levels, hormones and dangerous drugs like antibiotics and hormones permitted in the rearing or animals, biotech crops and animals, degradation of “organic” standards and a host of other affronts to ALL food consumed by humans is being met by the introduction of laws like the devastatingly dangerous HR 875 (HR 759)and S 425 in the US. Similar laws, to which the US statues “HARMonize”, have been adopted in Europe and elsewhere.
It is useful to note that Codex was created on the inspiration of Convicted WWII War Criminal Fritz ter Meer, the head of Germany’s IG Farben during that war, and Beyer Pharmaceutical head before – and after – the war. To remedy this situation, it is absolutely necessary to reclaim the production of food. There is, it seems to me, little point to wasting the opportunity to feed hungry Americans by allowing the food they eat to consist of the same deadly mix of irradiated biotech food, both demineralized and filled with dangerous chemicals, of which the Standard American Diet, aptly called “SAD” for short, consists.
The Natural Solutions Foundation has created a the Valley of the Moon Eco Demonstration Project in the temperate, bountiful and magnificent Highlands of Panama to teach farmers how to grow without chemicals. More information on this project is available at www.NaturalSolutionsFoundation.org. But we are also focused on the need to grow our own food, something that HR 875 (HR 759) and S 425 could forbid.
On a 4×4 patch of ground, or set of pots, it is possible to create an outdoor – or indoor – garden which can grow enough food for a family of four with nearly no expense and at minimal effort.
Why not teach the hungry to grow clean, unadulterated, safe and nourishing food, not give them recycled junk, whether it is considered “junk food” or not?
In the ancient wisdom of giving a man a fish, or teaching him to fish, why not teach him to garden and feed his family, his friends and himself?
If you believe in a vegetarian diet, you would thus be teaching people to find the means to achieve and sustain it. If you do not, you are giving people the means to acheive and sustain a healthy crop portion of their diet. Those whose physical situations allows them to grow healthy chickens can obtain inexpensive protein from them – both meat and eggs.
This, it seems to me, is the answer to the problem in the US and elsewhere.
