So, of course, Congress wants to support them and the companies that make them while suppressing your right to know anything at all about what GMO nightmare you are eating.

That means suppressing what those FrankenPHUDES can do to you and what the chemicals which  they are designed to withstand more and more and more of can do to you.

Right now, there is a new bill before the Congress of the United States which will make GMO labeling mandatory.  While we here at the Natural Solutions Foundation support the total ban of GMOs, the best way to break the back of the industry which now controls – and contaminates –  nearly all soy, corn and increasing amounts of sugar production in the US is for consumers to refuse to buy products with GMO ingredients in them.

That’s why labeling is so very important to us all.

Yesterday, Senators Barbara Boxer (D-CA) and Richard Blumentahl (D-CT) joined House Rep. Peter DeFazio (D-OR) to intorduce the Genetically Engineered Food Right to Know Act which makes labeling of GMOs mandatory in the US.  We need to support this bill vigorously.

In a few days, Mike Pompeo (R-KS) will reintroduce a bill that will OUTLAW mandatory GMO labeling by any state in the US and forbid your finding out what nightmare is on your plate, changing your genes and your children’s genes forever, exposing you to horrifying levels of herbicides and other agrochemicals like the defoliant 2,4 D, a component of Agent Orange which the US now authorizes spraying on food crops as once we sprayed the jungles of Vietnam.

Then there’s Roundup(R), which a professor at MIT says will result in 50% of all children in the US being autistic by 2025.
.
It is vitally important to show the Powers That [Think They] Be that we are uniformly and unanimously opposed to anything that restricts our right to know what is in our food and exercise absolute self-determination over what we put in our bodies.

The American Revolution was built around the concept of “No Taxation Without Representation”.
.
I suggest that we revisit that concept and declare “No Genetic Destruction Without Disclosure” since that is, quite clearly, exactly what is at stake: our genes, our health, our future.

Take the Arctic Apple, for example.  This no browning nightmare works by suppressing a genetic trait that accounts for the brown color of apple flesh upon exposure to oxygen.
.
That trait has been suppressed.  What happens when you eat it?  What genetic traits are suppressed in the bacteria upon which you depend for health?  No one knows.  At least outside of Monsanto and if they know, they are not telling.
.
What genetic traits are suppressed in your body when wandering genes make their way into your cells, or the cells of the unborn, as we know happens, and suppress genetic expression, or increase it?  No one knows. At least outside of Monsanto and if they know, they are not telling.

Does the FDA require anyone to tell them that?  No.
.
Does the FDA conduct its own tests to find that out?
.
No, as a matter of fact, they are forbidden by law from doing so.
.
They take what Monsanto or any of its evil twins tells them “Sure is safe, yes SIR! You bet it’s safe!” and run with it right to the permit office where they rubber stamp its approval.
.
USDA?  Same deal.  They do not do the legally required environmental impact studies or demand them.
.
This is the same organization that admitted a couple of years back that it did not know the location of 95%+ of all outdoor trials of GMO crops and could not find the paperwork for them, either.
.
Clearly, our safety is in the hands of the inmates who are running the biological asylum. Or maybe its just “crony” greed.
.
As a psychiatrist, I tend to assume it is craziness, since sane humans shouldn’t act that way, but as a student of history I must suspect the “revolving door” of crony corporate connections.
