The blogisphere and social media are filled with false faces and distortions. But also, with the potential to reach hundreds of millions across the globe. At times it seems communicating in that world is much like navigating a nearly dark room filled with distorting mirrors… Add to that the free-lance hackers and the well-paid minions of the powerful who both feel empowered to interfere with those communications, to suit their perceived self-interest or pleasure, regardless of the privacy of those targeted. That is the Internet world in which we find ourselves attempting to communicate important ideas about health and food freedom.
Nonetheless, we persevere and use every means available to us to spread the word. This does get us noticed (at various times, we find our web sites with high traffic rankings) and we attract opposition. Natural Solutions Foundation and its strongest voice, Dr. Rima E. Laibow, MD, have been the victims of a number of sophisticated and sustained Internet attacks in recent months, and reaching back several years, as the Foundation has moved forward with its Decade of Nutrition plan to reclaim health care and food production for natural solutions. These attacks have included DOS (denial of service) attacks, massive (over 100,000) fake $1 donations clogging our system, attacks on our ISP and Internet Radio hosts, and most recently, during this past Sunday’s Dr. Rima Reports —
www.HealthFreedomPortal.org — when some outside source took control of her computer and downloaded a series of viruses that specifically interfered with her Skype connection. Luckily our computer security mavin was visiting and set to work, fending off the attacks as the three hour program progressed. Two primary topics were planned for the program: mind-and-mood-control-frequencies and how green financing can promote health and food freedom goals.
These cyber events led me to review some of the information available on the Internet regarding the types of attacks to which NonGovernmental Organizations (NGOs) sometimes find themselves subject. What we are experiencing is not unique and seems confirm that we’ve reached a level of “attention” marking us for opposition. Thus some weird false rumors, such as (I kid you not!) if
you eat at the BeyondOrganic™ Restaurant, “a certain doctor” will stick a needle in your neck to withdraw… something… — how do you respond to that sort of extreme bonkersness?
So, in hopes of making some sense out of the characters and creeps that haunt modern communications media, I’ve come up with some categories, presented herein in no necessary order:
1. Agents Provacoteur… people who are not what they seem!
Two kinds of provocateurs may be discered according to the net: the soft provocateur, and the hard provocateur. We have definitely seen evidence of the “soft” variety on line:
The soft provocateur is an expert at the three D’s of destruction: Dissension, Distraction, and Disruption . His arsenal includes fabrications, distortions, misrepresentations, and misinformation. He spreads slander systematically and craftily; seeking to undermine the organization’s leadership, and thus deny it of its driving force. He plants seeds of doubt with the object of turning attention away from action, and instead diverting it and its resources against itself. His modus operandi is: divide and conquer!
The hard provocateur is a more direct animal, and therefore a bit easier to detect and contain. He presents himself as a “man of action,” and is consistently trying to lure others into illegal actions. It is implied that if you don’t follow his plans of illegality, then you are somehow lacking in spirit or dedication. He thus uses intimidation and peer pressure to entrap otherwise intelligent people into participating in illegal schemes that are both doomed to fail, and designed to place the organization in a poor public light.
2. Controlled Opposition and just plain Opportunists
The archetypical Opportunist is the guy who makes whatever bumper-stickers will sell. He is communicating ideas, but not for any value he may perceive in those ideas! Some Opportunists will try to look like legitimate NGOs, but actually be in the business of just collecting money for those who control the organization. Controlled Opposition is rather more sinister. These are NGOs that ostensibly promote certain ideas, but actually, through organizational timidity, do the work of the “other side” to limit their imagination as to what may be achieved*. They are more concerned with what The Powers That Be may say about them than they are in actually achieving their stated goals! Such organizations may appear active and may raise quite a bit of money, but you can tell them by their unwillingness to Speak Truth to Power when it might cause them to be denied a “seat at the table” or other crumbs of status.
The world situation has gotten very serious indeed and those who are just playing at green solutions need to understand that now’s the time when we have to “walk our talk” which is exactly why we’ve put so much time and effort into building a community of health and food freedom advocates both on the Internet and as “boots on the ground…” for our various activities in several continents.
3. Trolls and Other Virtual Critters
The virtual political reality of the Internet has spawned its own strange critters, such as Trolls, who are people who frequent online forums, not to engage in communications within the scope of the site, but to sow dissent and cause disagreement among the members, to limit the organization’s effectiveness. Sometimes Trolls are careful to keep this Agent Provocateur aspect of Trolldom very subtle while they exploit the openness of communication to gather information that can be used for disinformation purposes later.
Deviousness is a feature of some people acting through the near anonymity of the Internet.
Internet etiquette is still poorly developed and we will, I suspect, remain prey to these critters, to some degree or another, especially as we use these new media to communicate with larger audiences. Such attacks are not exactly a vindication of our efforts, but more like an involuntary acknowledgement of them! So, we take them as a badge of honor and remain, in General Bert’s words,
“Honor-bound to implement the most secure and effective communications system possible to efficiently mass the numbers of people who will have to act together to achieve victory!”
To do this, we need everyone’s help. We have to obtain and maintain a secure satellite up-link to be able to communicate world-wide, overcome increasing Internet censorship and open attacks. Yes, it’s always nice when members of Congress respond to net-roots Push Back and introduce bills that would offer further protection for our Health and Food Freedom of Speech. And we are sure the latest such bill, H.R. 1364, entitled the Free Speech About Science Act, introduced in the House of Representatives April 2011 by Congressmen Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) and Jared Polis (D-CO) is such a bill. We’ve been calling for further legal protection for years. HR. 1364 ought to be amended to truly protect health free speech.
The Natural Solutions Foundation’s Health and Food Freedom proposals, linked through the Health and Food Freedom of Speech Action Item, at http://tinyurl.com/healthfreespeech are detailed and include more than the current bill. Nonetheless, we certainly urge you to use the above Action Item to support that bill and urge its improvement.
Our gripe is aimed not at all those good folk who turn to Congress for protection, but at the Congress-critters who vote to protect us (or not) only to do nothing when the FDA thumbs its collective nose at Congress and the People by ignoring the protective laws Congress has adopted. As one astute observer, Diane Miller, JD noted, the bill “continually uses the term ‘legitimate scientific research’ as the threshold for ‘permission to speak’.” This, of course, restricts substantiation to officially approved science… the ghost of Lysenko-ism and more govt-sanctioned voodoo “science.”
Frankly, we thought we had won the battle over being allowed to communicate truthfully about health and food in Congress and in the Supreme Court.
We thought that’s what DSHEA was supposed to have done in 1994 with its Third Party Literature Provisions. Those provisions were further supported by the 1997 Labeling Commission which stated,
“Historically, FDA has considered literature used directly in connection with the sale of a product to be “labeling” for the product. Section 5 of DSHEA exempts certain publications used in connection with the sale of dietary supplements from being defined as “labeling.” The exemption applies to “a publication, including an article, a chapter in a book, or an official abstract of a peer-reviewed scientific publication…”
And again we thought this matter had been determined by the Supreme Court in the 2002 landmark Thompson v Western States case, wherein the Court opined:
“If the First Amendment means anything, it means that regulating speech must be a last – not first – resort. *** We have previously rejected the notion that the Government has an interest in preventing the dissemination of truthful commercial information in order to prevent members of the public from making [even] bad decisions with the information….”
Finally even the FDA “enabling act” of 2007 specifically exempted DSHEA products from enhanced FDA oversight.
But repeatedly FDA has ignored these legal restrictions, prompting Dr Ron Paul to remark that, when the Congress gives more power to FDA, the agency always engages in an “abuse of power…” A couple years ago it ignored the 2007 restrictions to exceed its power and ban the interstate sale of certain vitamins. Just last year it sought to ban the entire Ear Candling industry and asked the Courts to recognize NO right of Americans to make their own dietary choices.
This is an agency run-amok. An agency that is so incompetent that about half of the dangerous drugs (including vaccines) it approves must be withdrawn from the market, or strictly curtailed, within 5 years of approval, thus proving that the Public has become the final stage in drug company research and development. All the while, supporting drug company exemptions from legal liability for the horrendous harm they cause the Public.
Meanwhile, what we call Sen. Leahy’s Criminalization of Food and Speech bill, which claims to “increase criminal penalties for certain knowing and intentional violations relating to food…” but applies only to SPEECH, has reared its ugly head again, as S.216.
This onerous bill has cleared the Senate without hearings, by “unanimous consent” [where were you when Freedom needed you, Senators Paul and Lee?] The operative language of the bill is:
Any person who violates subsection (a), (b), (c), or (k) of section 301 with respect to any food–(A) knowingly and intentionally to defraud or mislead; and (B) with conscious or reckless disregard of a risk of death or serious bodily injury, shall be fined under title 18, United States Code, imprisoned for not more than 10 years, or both.’
Yes, Congress, can pass new laws to protect us from its agents — or subject us to even more harassment.
But better, DIVEST THE FDA OF FOOD AUTHORITY! Let it stick to messing up dangerous drugs and deadly vaccines… FREE US from this bureaucratic nightmare that leads to hundreds of thousands of unnecessary deaths every year!

We are watching It. We are all watching It. Closely. The problem is that the definition of “It” is changing rapidly.
When the Natural Solutions Foundation was created in 2004, It was our access to clean, unadulterated food, clearly labeled as such, our right to access high potency supplements and our right to information about food and food components.
It was the Globalist Eugenocidal Agenda for depopulation carried out through the degradation of the world’s food supply (Enter Codex along with Big Agribuz, Big Chema and Big Biotech) and dangerous, damaging medications (Hello, Big Pharma and Big Medica!) and vaccines. By 2009 It was expanding to include fake pandemics to be triggered by weaponized and deadly vaccines.
By 2010 It was the impending Federal Food Control law and the criminalization of unapproved speech about food and food components… the Nation State controlling nutrients and medicine.
It has been, for decades, the increasing regulatory Fascism and hostility toward health freedom, natural options and natural information.
It was the increasing bed partnership of Big Business and Big Government until, finally, we have reached the state Mussolini defined as “Fascism” — the merger of the corporate and the state interests and structures. The problem was, of course, that Il Duce thought that it was a good thing, and so, apparently, does the current US Government.
But now It has morphed, changed, defined itself anew. In addition to those threats and assaults, and, sadly, they are all still with us – and on Steroids compared to where they were when Dr. Rima and I shut down our practice of drug free medicine and psychiatry to take on this work. Now there are bigger, more dangerous and far more hidden Its that threaten the sanctity of the Genomes of Life on Earth… the threat of Genomicide and the threats to the lives and health of each of us… You know the first of those threats, the big It of Genetically Modified Organisms – GMOs – which have the ability to infest the very DNA of our bodies. But now there is an even more immediate threat to the Genome.
Ionizing Radiation
The Japanese government has announced official censorship to make sure that nothing it does not want you to hear is audible. In other words, their official balsamic lies, their assurances that “there is no danger to human health” — that people should not, and must not know that there is a continuing and, daily, nightly, minute by minute-ly, escalating danger to you and me and future generations, to life on this planet. What they have admitted is that it will take 6 to 9 months to eventually get the disaster under control… though with ground water contamination, I believe that to be a false hope.
And so the bureaucracy, corporate and government, lie to protect their positions. Examples: the EPA increasing the “standards” for radioactive I131 in milk and drinking water and then ending their program to monitor these clear and present dangers; the FDA declaring that it will not monitor radiation in Pacific ocean fish reaching the West Coast (and all US) markets… sticking our collective head in the sand does not make It go away. The cover-ups just make the reckoning that much more horrendous.
Do you believe that “ignorance is bliss”? That the Big Lie is better than the Truth? Quite the contrary. Thinking people want to know the Truth so they can prepare. In this situation , “Be Prepared” is good policy!

The plain and simple truth is that whether the Canadian and US governments take their radiation detectors off line or not; whether or not the FDA/EPA cabal changes the level of “safe” contamination; whether or not the Canadian government decides to shit down their radiation monitors around Vancouver and move them inland to Kamloops so that the workers and equipment would not be contaminated by high levels or radiatin (!); whether or not the Japanese government engages in the requisite “no hazard to health” cover-up, It is now whether or not where you live is habitable, whether your food is safe or not, whether your milk, drinking water, bathing water, food processing water,candy, flour, drugs,coffee, veggies, baby food, organic products, food from your own gardens and so on are contaminated or not, and to what degree if they are.
What measures are you taking, can you take, can the government take “for” you, should you take, to prevent as much damage as you can from this disastrous contamination which WILL go on and on and on and on, regardless of any censorship? What is Genomicide? It is violations of the Precautionary Principle that allow novel technologies which have the capacity to alter or even destroy the natural genetic diversity and balance of the planet. It is the use of technologies, primarily such as [1] GMO (genetically modified organisms), [2] gene-threatening, uninsurable Nuclear Power Generation (NPG), and [3] the commercial use of DNA-mutating toxins, including the uninsurable risk of toxic vaccination. All of these technologies violate that basic Principle that no one may introduce novel, potentially dangerous items into the marketplace without satisfying strict standards of care.
This Principle is violated as a regular policy by various government agencies, world-wide. General Bert’s World Risk Assessment: Threats to Health and Food Freedom #1
Start with my co-trustee, counsel Ralph Fucetola JD’s cogent analysis of the new Free Speech about Science bill, HR 1364 (a pretty good bill) and S. 216 (a really, really bad bill). DATA POINT 2 has to do with the devastating, escalating disaster in Japan where and entirely new set of reactors, at Onagawa, Japan have cracked open and are leaking more radiation following a severe aftershock earlier this week.
I am very troubled by this development and urge you to watch Dr. Rima’s three important videos below and take the proactive steps she recommends here, http://tinyurl.com/radprotect, to protect yourself and family. This horrific threat is not going away anytime soon. The reactors at Fukushima have been classified as a “Chernobyl Level Disaster” but, in reality, the radiation levels are far higher than that at Chernobyl. During a trip to Russia in 1991, scientists there informed Dr. Rima and me that the “accident” at Chernobyl was, in fact, an astoundingly stupid experiment that ran amok. The information I have suggests strongly to me that the “accident” at Fukushima was a HAARP event intended to run amok. The quake that opened 3 additional nuclear reactors at Onagawa appears to have been an aftershock from that event. However they got there, 3 more TEPCO nuclear reactors are leaking radioactive water and ionizing radiation-producing materials into the environment. Once there, it reaches the US in just a few days, then the Atlantic, Europe, Russia and China, then back around.
When will it stop? There is no indication that it will. Radiation WILL go up up, first in the Northern half of the planet, then all over it. DATA POINT 3 is the increasing probability of a financial meltdown in the United States if Congress is unable to hold the line on the Federal Debt Limit. Breaking through the $14+ billion figure may very well trigger the hyperinflation that has been building pressure. Obama Care legislation gave the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sibelius, a $16Billion “Slush Fund” which will only be funded IF the Federal Debt Ceiling is raised.
With that fund, she will find the Food Fascism bill which was sneaked through Congress at the last moment of a lame duck session in 2010. If the Federal Debt ceiling is NOT lifted, then this disastrous blow to health and freedom cannot be funded. JUDGE THROWS EAR CANDLE CASE OUT OF COURT:
“TARGET EAR CANDLE COMPANIES HAVE NO STANDING TO DEFEND THEMSELVES AGAINST BEING PUT OUT OF BUSINESS”
Our employee, the FDA is, once again, wreaking havoc and terror on you and me – on We the People!
Having declared Ear Candles a Medical Device, the Fraud and Death Administration then stated that under no circumstances could Ear Candles ever be APPROVED as a Medical Device and issued “Cease and Desist” orders against the manufacture or sale of Ear Candles.
Whether or not you use Ear Candles, it is clear that this assault on a safe, time-honored and danger-free modality is the first in a new campaign of terror –yes, terror – against the manufacturers, marketers and consumers of anything but dangerous, expensive and easily replaced pharmaceuticals.
FDA is vigorously attacking Ear Candle Manufacturers while, for example, supporting Pfizer and reversing the FDA position on antibiotics: Pfizer new vaccine “for” ear infections killed 4 more children in Japan shortly before the Tsunami. AMA has reversed their long held, science based position against antibiotics in ear infections and now are claiming that antibiotics “cure” ear infections despite the lack of clinical evidence to suggest that it is true. The press, however, is not touting this “breakthrough”.
Although claims are sharply prohibited by FDA in this war of terror, the truth as Dr. Laibow and other holistic practitioners know from their clinical experience is that Ear Candles have a significant efficacy rate in ear infections. None of the companies adopt this position, of course.
And the Supreme Court tells us, in the leading case of Thompson vs Western States (535 U.S. 357, 2002) that –
“If the First Amendment means anything, it means that regulating speech must be a last – not first – resort … We have previously rejected the notion that the Government has an interest in preventing the dissemination of truthful commercial information in order to prevent members of the public from making bad decisions with the information… Even if the Government did argue that it had an interest in preventing misleading advertisements, this interest could be satisfied by the far less restrictive alternative of requiring … a warning that the [device] had not undergone FDA testing and that its risks were unknown.”
This nonmedical device example is just one in a long, long line of shameful distortions and persecutions of natural products health and wellness manufacturers and those who disseminate and purvey the information about what they are and how to work with them. Because Ear Candles are less known than other modalities like, for example, Chelation therapy or Vitamin C drips for treatment of cancer, we believe that the FDA sees them as a good place to start this new assault. The strategy is to declare them untested medical devices and then prevent them from being made or sold through Cease and Desist orders without taking a final action. It is this lack of final action which the Judge says prevents the companies from having standing to defend themselves.
We believe that if we do not file a successful appeal, we, the health freedom community, will see a blizzard of these Cease and Desist orders, none of them final action, but all of them definitive: “Keep making the product, or selling it, and go to jail.”
We have no choice but to fight as long as it takes to stop the FDA. Ear Candles are the tip of the iceberg: fighting and winning the Ear Candle issue is identical to fighting and winning a major portion of the health freedom battle: the right to decide what methods you use to gain and maintain health.
