Brazil Bans Monsanto
Birth Defect Chemical – or Is It Zika?

Brzil has banned the use of Pyriproxyfen, marketed there as SumiLarv™ by the Japanese Monsanto subsidiary, Sumitomo, because of its suspected association with microcephaly.* Or maybe just one state, Rio Grande do Sul, did. Last Saturday Joao Gabbardo dos Reis, Secretary of Health for Rio Grande do Sul, announced that the use of the larvicide to treat water used for human consumption is now prohibited.
.
So, is it this toxin, or that toxin, or even the Zika virus, that’s the birth defect generator?
.
“We decided to suspend the use of the product [Pyriproxyfen] in human consumption water until we get a position in the Ministry of Health and because of that we strengthen the appeal to the population to eliminate any possible breeding ground of the mosquito,” said Gabbardo said.***
.
So did Brazil ban this dangerous chemical, which is one of 12 recommended by WHO for controlling mosquito larvae? Well, apparently not.
.
CNN reports “Brazilian health officials and the World Health Organization are denying links between a well-known pesticide and microcephaly, a condition that causes babies to develop abnormally small heads and leads to death in some cases.” and “unlike the relationship between the Zika virus and microcephaly, which has had its confirmation attested in tests that indicated the presence of the virus in samples of blood, tissue and amniotic fluid, the association between the use of Pyriproxyfen and microcephaly has no scientific basis. ”

Once again, we are experiencing a “Science is settled” moment where lies and conflicted interests are passed off as science with truth sold to the highest bidder. The presence of Zika virus has been found in less than 10% of the afflicted babies and their mothers. So much for causation.
.
But way back in March, 2014, Brazil’s Federal Public Prosecutor asked the country’s justice department to suspend the use of glyphosate, which is the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup—the world’s top-selling herbicide. In addition, the prosecutor has also targeted another herbicide known as 2,4-D and the active ingredients methyl parathion, lactofem, phorate, carbofuran, abamectin, tiram and paraquat, all of which are highly toxic to humans and the environment.

The consequences of such the prosecutor’s act were far reaching: Since crops are genetically modified to accept these poisons, the prosecutor asked that the National Biosafety Technical Commission prohibit the widespread sale of GMOseeds resistant to the herbicide pending a final position by ANVISA.
.
The news came as a huge blow to the biotech industry, following a unanimous ruling by Brazil’s Federal Appeals Court the week before canceling the cultivation of Bayer’s Liberty Link GM Maize.
.
In that same time frame, Sri Lanka ordered a ban on glyphosate due to concerns the chemical may be linked to a mysterious kidney disease that has killed thousands of agricultural workers and the legislature in El Salvador approved a ban on dozens of agrochemicals including glyphosate.
.
The bans have not been enforced and more chemicals are added frequently creating a toxic stew in which living organisms cannot tolerate and survive.
.
Since the government of Brazil and their friends over at WHO maintain that there is no science behind the possibility that pyriproxyfen is the cause of the tragic and enormous microcephaly outbreak, but that Zika virus is, let’s take a moment to look at the evidence.
.
- Is there a microcephaly outbreak in Brazil? (Actually, no, there isn’t despite the absurd hysterical GET ME A VACCINE NOW!!!! WHO/US/Media hype).
- Are there 4600 cases of microcephaly? (Actually, no there are approximately only 17 possible cases that “have a relationship to Zika virus” out of about 350 total suspected cases of “microcephaly and related conditions”, whatever having “a relationship to the Zika virus” actually means.)
- Do the afflicted babies or their mothers have Zika Virus? (Actually, fewer than 10% of babies and mothers are Zika positive out of all those with suspected or confirmed microcephaly.)
- Is Zika virus the cause of the cases or is it a benign, minor virus which does not cause birth defects? (Actually, no it is not since in the 70 years since it was identified and patented by the Rockefeller Institute, it has been identified all over the world, but never associated with anything other than a mild flu-like illness.)
- Does Sumilarv(TM). Monsanto affiliate’s name for pyriproxyfen, a poison applied to drinking water in order to to cause birth defects and deformities in mosquito larvae, cause microcephaly? (Actually, yes it does according to Physicians in the Crop-Sprayed Towns (PCST), a group of Argentinian doctors.**)
- Is GSK’s TDaP vaccine, mandated for every pregnant woman in Brazil before 22 weeks of gestation, but never tested in pregnant women for reproductive or fetal safety, a likely candidate for the deformities? (Actually, yes it is because it contains aluminum plus other highly inflammatory and damaging compounds and contaminants.)
- Could a combination of dangerous vaccines and dangerous agrochemicals (including all the others dumped in huge quantities into the environment) act synergistically to damage the fetus in both easily observed and more subtle ways seen years or decades later? (Actually, yes, they could and they do: Roundup(R) or glyphosate, for example, in addition to causing infertility, cancer, and a host of other horrifying conditions, causes birth defects. So does 2,4-D, another Monsanto gift to the world used in Agent Orange, and numerous other chemicals used without restraint or sense, just as vaccines are.)
- Will adding a Zika vaccine protect any mothers or babies from microcephaly? (Actually no, not a one.)
Brazil’s Health Minister, Marcelo Castro is quoted as saying he has “100% certainty” that there is a link between Zika and microcephaly. Certain physicians and scientists in the global medical community support this, including the US’s influential Center for Disease Control. Other researchers say there is no hard evidence of the link, but just some epidemiological indications and circumstantial evidence.

One paper by A S Oliveira Melo et al published in the journal Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology, identified Zika virus in the amniotic fluids and other tissues of the some affected babies and their mothers. However, only two women were examined, considered by scientists too small a number to establish a statistically significant link.

On February 3, 2016 the New York Times reported on the results of analyses by Brazil’s Health Ministry. The Ministry stated, “Of the cases examined so far, 404 have been confirmed as having microcephaly. Only 17 of them tested positive for the Zika virus…”

Colombia’s president, Juan Manuel Santos, as reported by the Washington Post stated that public health officials have so far diagnosed 3,177 pregnant women with the Zika virus- but in no case had microcephaly been observed in the foetus.

Americans used to be able to rear their children as they saw fit. It was called “parental rights”, deeply enshrined in tradition and statute. No more, thanks to the helpful US Government. They’re here to help. So they say.

As a once-free people, Americans have always rejected the lust for power in their “public servants.” Politicians and bureaucrats, knowing this, seek excuses for grabbing more power over our lives. Those who think they are good enough to run everyone’s lives ALWAYS claim the “moral high ground”, using what has been termed “Aesopian Language”[1]— language that covers the actual tyrannical intent with mouthing about various goods we all seek: health, security, prosperity, and always, always, doing what is best for our children. They know that hitching their wagon to the children will get them far down the road to their real goal: total control of our minds and bodies, in this case of our children’s minds and bodies.

As part of this program of obscuring their goals, the government control freaks issue densely worded and lengthy reports, statements, recommendations, guidance’s and the like. One such document is the Department of (Mis)Education’s Statement on Family Engagement (SFE)[2]
.
It uses all the “politically correct” euphemisms, with just the appropriate amount of educational psychology bureau-babble, to attempt to hide their intent. Like tyrants most everywhere, however, they fail to really hide goal they lust after: total control.
.
SFE refers to a “partnership” between the bureaucracy and parents regarding the upbringing of children. What is this “partnership?” Note the use by HHS of this legal term: “partnership” implying a right of control over an asset. In fact, YOUR children are now considered THEIR “assets” which can now be developed.
.
Under SFE, the loving, dynamic, idiosyncratic, values-laden relationship among family members becomes a mere economic exchange to be regulated by the government as the controlling partner, with the parents as silent “partners” implementing state-mediated plans to make sure the child exists for the society, and not visa versa.
.
One analysis of the HHS Statement[3] sums up the proposal this way:
.
- Systematically embedding effective family engagement practices where children will be seen as assets.
- Value equal partnership between professionals and families
- Value equal partnership between professionals and families mandating vaccines & forced medical treatments, including psychiatric drugs as determined by the State “experts”)
- Ensure constant monitoring
- Ensure achievement of government-set monitoring goals enforced through interventions by government employees
- Interventions will be made if parents don’t comply
- Periodic home visits will be made to assure compliance
.
The abolition of the autonomous family as the basic unit of society was first called for in modern times by Karl Marks and his co-conspirators in the Communist manifesto[4]. His successors in Nazi Germany, Soviet Russia and Red China sought to implement the new relationship between families and the government in the rearing of children as a “partnership” that would control children and create the “New Person.” This is not unlike the absolute control slave masters had over the children of their slaves.

Using fear of disease the new tyrants seek total control over future generations. It is a false fear.
.
History teaches us that the great pandemic diseases of earlier times were conquered only by better hygiene, sanitation, diet and nutrition. Medical intervention in the form of forced vaccination has never been instrumental in conquering disease. Rather, vaccination destroys natural immune system structure and function leading, over the past century or so, to a horrendous increase in chronic diseases like asthma, life-threatening allergies, MS, arthritis, diabetes and other auto-immune disorders and childhood learning disabilities, (in the worse cases) autism and early death.

We must reject the carefully crafted child control mechanism proposed by the Federal Government. Or we will cease being parents and free people entirely.
.
International humanitarian law shows us how. By asserting our Right to Informed Consent and refusing government mandated medical interventions we will preserve our basic human rights and that of our children to be reared by us under our control with our values and decision-making, not the State’s.

Radiation sickness is experienced differently based on the amount and duration of radiation experienced by the victim. There is no safe dose of radiation but sometimes the impact of ionizing radiation, also known as “nuclear radiation” can take years to show up.
.
The long term effects, including heart disease, cancer, infertility, Diabetes Type I, dementia and more, are not under consideration here because the Aliso Canyon leak has only been known since October, 2015.
.
But the residents of the area are experiencing severe effects which the government health agents and impacted corporations are content to put down to small amounts of methane, butane, toluene and other hydrocarbon gases.
.
I contend that they are, once again, unsurprisingly, “Going TEPCO”, that is, denying, delaying, deceiving to avoid both blame for this disaster, costs for its consequences and limitation on future actions based on public outrage.
.
Acute radiation sickness (or “radiation poisoning”) presents rapidly. Smaller doses result in gastrointestinal effects including nausea and vomiting as well as symptoms related to falling blood counts such as bleeding and predisposition.
.
To my knowledge, no public health organization has either recommended or carried out blood tests to see if clotting and blood cell counts are impacted although nose and other bleeds are common in Los Angeles gas leak victims as are nausea and vomiting.
.
Relatively larger doses can result in neurological effects and rapid death.
.
At least one case of wrongful death is not in court by the family of an alleged victim of the gas leak. Are there more deaths caused by the leak? Are any of them acute radiation poisoning-related?
.
Treatment of acute radiation syndrome is generally supportive with blood transfusions and antibiotics, with some more aggressive treatments, such as bone marrow transfusions, being required in extreme cases. Without that support, however, these victims will certainly not fare well. Furthermore, EDTA or DMPS chelation is required to removed toxic radioactive metals like uranium, polonium, plutonium, etc. These materials will lodge in the lungs of radiation-breathing victims and WILL cause cancer and heart disease later.
.
Are they being examined for these toxins?
.
Without identification of the possibility that they may be injured now or later by the known radiation contaminants in the gas that they have breathed or continue to breath, there will be no investigation, no diagnosis and therefore, no treatment.
.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE DISASTER

As a trained engineer and as an intelligence officer, I always seek to understand the science behind any matter I must consider. In short, an invisible plume of natural gas presents a massive survival threat not only because of exposure to gases like methane, benzene and toluene but because of life-threatening contamination with uranium, radon and other radioactive elements. Radioactive exposure to Los Angeles and surrounding areas appears to approach a Chernobyl/Fukushima level event. We need to look at the official story and then at unfolding media reports about the horrific, man-made natural gas disaster threatening one of the world’s major metropolitan region.

Like the continuing radiation releases at Fukushima and Chernobyl, this disaster’s consequences are local, regional and global.
.
Unsurprisingly, the SoCalGas’ official story acknowledges the leak but totally and dishonestly minimizes any health risk:
.
“On October 23, SoCalGas crews discovered a leak at one of the natural gas storage wells at its Aliso Canyon storage field. In response, we activated the appropriate procedures to begin to address the leak. We regret that the smell of the odorant in natural gas is unpleasant and that some people are sensitive to the odor, and we sincerely apologize for the annoyance and concern this odor is causing the neighboring communities. However, the leak does (sic) not pose an imminent threat to public safety. ” [1]
.
“The Aliso Canyon Oil Field (also Aliso Canyon Natural Gas Storage Field, Aliso Canyon Underground Storage Facility) is an oil field and natural gas storage facility in the Santa Susana Mountains in Los Angeles County, California, north of the Porter Ranch neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles. Discovered in 1938 and quickly developed afterward, the field peaked as an oil producer in the 1950s, but has remained active since its discovery. One of its depleted oil and gas producing formations, the Sesnon-Frew zone, was converted into a gas storage reservoir in 1973 by the Southern California Gas Company, the gas utility servicing the southern half of California. This reservoir is the second-largest natural gas storage site in the western United States, with a capacity of over 86 billion cubic feet of natural gas. ” [2][Emphasis added ]

Note that pumping billions of cubic feet of natural gas under pressure into the crust of the earth means that it will, inevitably, become contaminated with the radioactive gas radon as well as any vaporizing, emitting or subliming materials in the surrounding deep rocks and rivers. This risk is obvious to any engineer.

The composition of the rock is known, as is the concentration of radon gas. Uranium, radium (and radon gas, a decay product of radium) as well as other radioactive elements are known components of the substructure and deep layers of the area.

Any rupture, leak or other release would, inevitably, release radioactive gas into the lungs of those nearby – and distant.

Just how radioactive? Very Radioactive How about 8.14 million lethal doses SO FAR?

SuperStation95 reports this from the globally respected International Association for Protection from Ionizing Rays (AIPRI)[3]:

“If the leak, as it is now admitted, is actually 3 times greater i.e. 5.1 million m3 of effluent per day (3346 tons per day), with the same content per meter cube of radon 222 the natural radionuclides contained in the underground gas would skyrocket to 30.75 MBq (3.53 mCi) per second, of 470.69 GBq (12,72 Ci) per hour, 11.30 TBq (305.31 Ci) per day for an excursion in 90 days 1.02 PBq (27,48 KCi) a dispersion of 40.7 million Sieverts representing 8.14 million lethal doses by inhalation.” [Emphasis added]

Yet the second largest storage area for natural gas in the Western United States was approved, built and filled with billions of cubic feet of natural gas under the very feet, or perhaps the very graves, of residents of the City of Los Angeles.

On January 4, 2016: Various world-wide media reported the situation this way: “Unprecedented catastrophe underway near Los Angeles; Largest gas leak ever recorded — “Equivalent to strength of a volcanic eruption” — “Thousands suffer nose bleeds, vomiting” — “Potentially devastating on planetary scale” — Expert: “It’s so far above and beyond what I’ve ever seen”[4] [Emphasis added]

February 3, 2016: “A leaking natural gas well is spewing lethal levels of naturally-occurring Uranium, Radon and other radioactive materials into the air around Los Angeles. Parts of the city may be “uninhabitable” for years! … Now, it has been revealed that naturally-occurring radiation from ground Uranium, has also been spewing out of that leaking well and so much has come out, that the situation constitutes a “Massive Radiation Emergency…..” [6] [Emphasis added]

I have warned repeatedly of the risks of radiation exposure in America and around the world.[7] The Natural Solutions Foundation has been at the forefront of support for His Excellency Ambassador M. Murata (the “Conscience of Fukushima”) and the efforts of NGOs to address the continuing dangers emanating from Fukushima and beyond.

Our Medical Director, Dr. Rima, has warned about this danger as well, offering information[8],[9]as well as protective strategies[10] against this type of radiation, called “nuclear” or “ionizing” radiation). The best protection, however, is to protect against exposure! Residents of Los Angeles, a word to the wise should be sufficient.

In my professional estimate, unless SoCal gets this radioactive volcano under control immediately, the combined radioactive assault from Fukushima, Aliso Canyon and other leaks in the region will constitute a grave threat to the security of the regional population.

Clearly, Fukushima and Aliso Canyon, like so many other wildly dangerous projects, constituting risks without engineering solutions, should never have been permitted regardless of the financial interests of their proponents. The only reason they were allowed was to serve those interests since they do not serve the interests or health of their victims, despite the endless propaganda to the contrary.

In 2011 we created ICSAFER, the International Commission to Study and Finalize Environmental Remediation[14] knowing that conventional nuclear physics and engineering are not able to remediate radiation rapidly enough to solve the problem on a human timescale. We have called for an international response to the horror from Fukushima. Now we must add AlisoCanyon to that list. And which aging and dangerous nuclear or other dangerous facility will be next?

It is par for the course that the corporate “Mainstream Media” is being more than reticent about a catastrophe that threatens the very survival of a large and very important part of the Southern California, one of the largest economies on the planet. Are they frightened and confused or completely controlled and complicit? Either way, their silence should be a real warning to us all.
