A Valiant Peace Warrior Has Passed.After being hospitalized for the past 158 days, despite the heroic efforts of two hospital staffs and the constant attendance of his loving wife, Rima Laibow, MD, the President of the Natural Solutions Foundation, “General Bert” to his many friends, passed away early this morning, on his 87th birthday, reborn into yet another adventure.

A personal note: Bert continued to teach us great lessons about healing and freedom even as he remained hospitalized for 158 days. At one point we had to obtain a court order to make sure he could receive the high-quality nutrition that allowed him to overcome a series of medical crises, including a half dozen so-called “antibiotic resistant” infections picked up in the hospital.  When I saw him last Saturday he was in good spirits, animated and engaged, and I thought, on the road to recovery. Alas, he was too weakened by the struggle for even Dr. Rima’s powerful natural therapies to overcome.  General Bert died from a lack of health freedom! His death proves the validity of his assertion that “Informed Consent is the defining issue of the 21st Century.” RF
